A Home for the Holidays

Family Promise of Hudson County celebrates another family “graduating” from the program and moving into their own home this past month. “Candice” and her daughter moved into their new apartment on Saturday, November 28th. We rejoice that they now have a “Home for the Holidays!”. We want to thank all those members who helped in collecting household items to help them in their transition: Cleaning supplies, sheets, blankets, towels, dish cloths, utensils, pots & pans, dishes, glasses & mugs, and curtains. In addition a number of items were purchased online and delivered to their new home.  Johnnie Lovejoy and Wendy Badree are coordinating these efforts as the new “Alumni Volunteer Coordinators” of Family Promise of Hudson County. Thank you, everyone for making a big difference in others’ lives!
