Lenten Prayer Tree

We will offer a new Lenten practice this year for members and neighbors. A Lenten “Weeping Willow” in the side yard of the church (along Highland Avenue). You will find a mailbox with ribbons, markers and instructions for you to write prayers of lament, loss and longing on a ribbon. After you write your prayer, tie the ribbon to the tree as a community expression of our need for God. You may also send prayers by email, text or in the comments of the live-streaming video and we will write your prayers and add them to the tree. We hope that you will find meaning and purpose in this sacred season
