Refugee Relief Here in Jersey City

We recently received an urgent needs request from our partners at Church World Service (CWS).

Thank you for your generous donations to CWS Jersey City in the past. We are currently facing a MASSIVE influx of clients. In the month of August, we plan to enroll over 500 new clients from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Syria, Central America and more. We are in urgent need to the following items:

– Adult Shoes, all sizes, both genders, used in excellent condition

– Adult clothes, Shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts, pants, all genders, all sizes, used in excellent condition

– Toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors) NEW ONLY 

– Bedding (sheets, towers) NEW ONLY 

– Small toys for kids, gently used

– Diapers, formula, wipes NEW ONLY

– Cleaning products (disinfectant, dish soap, trash bags, etc) NEW ONLY 

– Toilet paper, paper towels NEW ONLY 

– Canned and dried food NEW ONLY 

• Home good (pots, pans, plates cups, bowls, silverware) *gently used, wrapped and in cardboard boxes ONLY for safety reasons.*

The store is located in Jersey City near Journal Square. It is open for drop off next week (August 1st-5th) Monday-Friday from 12-5pm as well as the following week (August 8-12th), Monday-Friday 12-5pm. The sooner you are able to bring these items the better! Unfortunately, we cannot pick up items so you would need to drop them off.
