Bible Study on the Psalms

 We have resume our Wednesday night Bible Study following a summer break with a new study on the Psalms. This study shows forth the richness of the Psalms in terms of spirituality, personal growth and worship.  It is a broad and deep exploration of the various types of Psalms and how they can enrich our spiritual lives. The study will include the following types of Psalms found in this collection of 150  chapters: “Prayer Book of God’s People”, “Prayers and Poetry”, “Psalms of Sacred History”, “Psalms of Trust”, “Psalms of Lament”, “Psalms of Praise”.

Did you know that the book of Psalms is the most quoted book of the Hebrew Scriptures found in the New Testament? Did you know that there are over one hundred hymns in our hymnal that are based on the psalms? Come learn more about the rich spiritual heritage in this collection of one hundred fifty songs, poems and prayers in our weekly Bible Study this fall.

We meet in the chapel each Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. All are welcome.
