Pastor at Montreat Conference Center

Our Pastor, Rev. Jon Brown, will be away from July 22 to August 7 serving as keynote speaker for weeks five and six of the Montreat Youth Conferences in North Carolina. https://montreat.org/events/myc2021 The theme for this summer’s youth conferences is “Called to Connect.” Next week over 800 high school students and their adult advisors will gather for inspirational exploration into the biblical text, worship, music, recreation and fellowship.
While the pastor is away there will be no worship services at
Old Bergen on July 25 and August 1. We encourage members to visit (in person or online) worship at another congregation. We will send a link via email to our member and friends list so that you can “attend” the online service for Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church led by Rev. Eileen Lindner. (PLEASE NOTE: Their worship takes place on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.)
The pastor will return on Saturday, August 7th and will lead worship (in person and broadcast on live streaming video) on August 8th. If there is a pastoral emergency while the pastor is away, please call the church office.
