Rally Day and Blessing of the Backpacks

We will hold our “Rally Day” on Sunday, September 8th. It marks the beginning of our new Sunday school year. Students will meet in Brett Hall at 9:45 for crafts, games, story telling and refreshments. September 8th is also the second Sunday of the month, so it will be Youth Sunday – with children and young people sharing in the worship leadership. 

This year we will hold a “Blessing of the Backpacks” as part of our worship on September 8th. We invite all students (and young adults) who are starting a new school year to bring your backpacks (or brief cases) to church that we might bless them and remind you that God goes with you in your studies and adventures.
