Soldier Care Packages

During the month of November, in recognition of Veterans Day, the Deacons will be working with Soldiers’ Angels (https://soldiersangels.org/) and collecting items to send care packages to those in service as well as veterans.  The list of needed items is as follows:

• Any assortment of nutritional bars such as KIND bars, protein bars, etc.
• Individual packets of nuts and dried fruit- raisins, prunes, etc.
• Dried snack items such as beef jerky, cookies, etc.
• Halloween candy/holiday candy is welcomed!
• Travel size hygiene items for males and females, such as: shampoo/conditioner, body wash, toothpaste/toothbrush, and other hygiene necessities
• Minor personal clothing items such as blankets, socks, bath/face towels, t-shirts, sweatpants, etc.
• Entertaining items such as: playing cards, board games, crossword puzzles, small novels, etc.

Items that you wish to donate can be left in the lady bug hamper in the Parlor.
