Autumn Fest – October 12th
We invite everyone to join us for the Deacons' Autumn Fest on Sunday, October 12th. Following worship we will gather in Brett Fellowship Hall for a luncheon hosted by the Deacons. There are no tickets or price set for the lunch, but donations will be accepted. There will also be balloon creations, a jump castle for the children, a bake sale, cotton candy, popcorn, fall flowers to purchase, and a mini-flea market. Come join us for the fellowship and fun!

Pastor Jon will be away participating in a continuing education event sponsored by the Presbyterian Board of Pensions. October 19th to the 28th. On Sunday, October 26th, Rev. Roland Ratmeyer will be our guest preacher.

Come join is as a volunteer at our monthly Food Pantry. The next two Food Pantries are October 25th and November 22nd. The food distribution take place in Brett Hall from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We could also use volunteers to help unload the delivery from the Community Food Bank of NJ on Friday morning, October 24th or November 2ist. We will celebrate our Reformed heritage on Reformation Sunday, October 26th. Our former pastor, Rev. Roland Ratmeyer will be our guest preacher that day. The sanctuary will be adorned with the banners representing the creeds and confessions of our faith and the young people will share the stories of those banners of faith.

All Saints Day Observed – November 2nd
On Sunday, November 2nd, we will remember those saints who have passed from this life into God’s eternal care, yet are still with us in spirit. Members are invited to light a candle and recall the names of loved ones. We will also celebrate Communion. In addition, Chelyse Elaine Manwah, daughter of Chelsea and Jason Manwah, will be baptized on that day.

Deacons are organizing a project for the children of the Nurturing Place Family Shelter. You can sponsor a gift card for $15 for each child. There is a Christmas Tree display in the Parlor with numbered stars representing the children in need of gift cards; if you chose to make a donation for a gift card, please take a star from the tree. The Sunday school will host a children’s Christmas Party on Friday, December 12th, at 7:00 PM in the church parlor. There will be crafts, activities, singing, refreshments, and a visit from a special guest to bring some holiday cheer.

The Consistory Session has called for a Congregational Meeting December 14th after worship for the purpose of changing the By Laws of the church to combine Trustees and Consistory Session by eliminating the board of Trustees, giving those responsibilities to the Elders and adding three new members to the Consistory Session.
