Worship this Fall
The Consistory Session has decided to open up the church again for in person worship. We will also broadcast the services on FaceBook live streaming video for those more comfortable participating at home. The pews are marked off for social distancing. Our Pastor, Rev. Our next Food Pantry will be Saturday, August 28 from 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon. Those needing food assistance are asked to bring a referral form from one of the area social service agencies (such as Let's Celebrate, Women Rising, PACO, Jersey City Resident Response Center, Urban League, Hudson CASA, Horizon Family Success Center). Labor Day Weekend
Our pastor will be away for a couple days vacation over Labor Day Weekend. In 2016 Jersey City Together launched its first meeting wit over 800 people in the Old Bergen Church sanctuary. The Deacons are holding a fundraiser during the month of October by means of a flower sale. You can purchase beautiful fall mums for $7 each. Cemetery Clean Up Day
Please join us for a volunteer clean up day to spruce up our historic cemetery. We will gather from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. If you can come by for an hour or the whole time, you help would be greatly appreciated. We will be raking, picking up debris, mowing grass, some planting, and getting the space in good shape for opening it to the public for Bergen Square Day later in October.

The chartering of Old Bergen Church in 1660 also marks the establishment of Bergen Village.
