Sunday School this Fall – Rally Day
We are excited about resuming Sunday school this fall with three age group classes for the children and youth and a special adult class in the parlor. We will meet weekly starting September 24th. Children will gather in the chapel at 9:45 AM for a Gathering time with songs, announcements and celebrations. Then the students will go to their separate classes from 10:00 to 10:45 AM. World Communion Sunday
We will celebrate World Communion Sunday on October 1st during the 11:00 AM worship service. On this day we recognize our common bond with all siblings in Christ around the world as we proclaim our shared hope and faith in the risen Christ. You are invited to bring different kinds of breads representing various traditions from around the world. They will be used in our opening processional.

We meet every Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM for Bible Study in the Chapel of Peace. We are currently following a series, "The Parables: Stories for Life in God's World". The Wednesday evening Bible Study is led by Pastor Jon. Please join us each Wednesday. All are welcome. The Deacons are hosting an Autumn Festival for the church and community on Saturday, October 7th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Weather permitting, it will be held outside in the side yard on the corner of Highland and Bergen Avenues. There will be face-painting and balloons for the children, games for all ages, empanadas, hotdogs, and a bake sale, a pop up coffee shop and more. The children will present a live nativity tableaux during the 11:00 AM worship service on Sunday, December 17th. All children are invited to take part in this impromptu pageant telling the story of the birth of Christ. No rehearsal required, costumes will be provided. Just show up by 10:00 that Sunday morning. We welcome the Rev. Melanie Marsh to the pulpit on Sunday, December 31st, at our 11:00 AM worship service. Melanie was a summer intern in 2013 while she was a student at Princeton Theological Seminary. Rev. Marsh is now pastor at Riviera Presbyterian Church in Miami. We are pleased to welcome her back and look forward to hearing the good Word that she will share!
