We are holding worship in person at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary. We will also broadcast the service on FaceBook live streaming video. We invite you to join us for worship - in person or online. Sunday Worship

We recently received an urgent needs request from our partners at Church World Service (CWS). Thank you for your generous donations to CWS Jersey City in the past. We have resume our Wednesday night Bible Study following a summer break with a new study on the Psalms. We will be holding a Fall Flea Market at the church on Saturday, September 10th, from 11 AM to 4 PM. All proceeds will go to support the ministries of Old Bergen Church. We are looking for donations such as: Household Items (silverware, glassware, knick-knacks), New or Gently Used Clothing, Books (good condition), Jewelry, Small appliances and furniture. Church World Service of Jersey City has welcomed over 300 refugees this year from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Haiti, and Central America. Old Bergen Church has responded to their call for help. In August we provided ten boxes of clothing, household goods and other items urgently needed. We also delivered a number of items from our Fall Flea Market. Stay tuned for ongoing opportunities to welcome and provide support for these our newest neighbors.

All Saints Day Observed – November 6th
We will acknowledge the “communion of the saints” as we observe All Saints Day in worship on November 6th. We will name those who have passed from this life into God’s eternal care – especially those who have died this past year but including others whom you would like to be remembered. Those who are present in worship will also be invited to light a candle in memory of loved ones.
