Due to the overwhelmingly positive response back in March, the deacons will continue collect women’s hygiene products to distribute at the Food Pantry on June 25th,, July 30th and August 27th. These are costly items and many families must choose between food for their families and proper hygiene products. In addition, we will distribute toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and hand sanitizer. You can drop these items off in the hamper located in the church parlor or simply make a financial donation…

We have resumed in person worship on Sunday mornings. We gather in the sanctuary at 11:00 AM. It is recommended, but not required, to wear a face mask indoors. We also broadcast the service by means of live streaming video. For those who are joining us online, you can find us at https://facebook.com/jonm.brown.94 . The video will be saved and posted after the service, so you can also watch it later at your convenience.

We recently received an urgent needs request from our partners at Church World Service (CWS). Thank you for your generous donations to CWS Jersey City in the past. We are currently facing a MASSIVE influx of clients. In the month of August, we plan to enroll over 500 new clients from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Syria, Central America and more. We are in urgent need to the following items: - Adult Shoes, all sizes, both genders, used in excellent condition - Adult clothes, Shirts, sweaters,…

Church World Service of Jersey City has welcomed over 300 refugees this year from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Haiti, and Central America. Old Bergen Church has responded to their call for help. In August we provided ten boxes of clothing, household goods and other items urgently needed. We also delivered a number of items from our Fall Flea Market.
